The Best Fiction writer of the World War...

Undoubtedly my vote g oes to Allistair Maclean. The narration, the script, the pace and the climax are all top quality. The most fascinating thing about his books his that he doesn't waste pages by parting knowledge on various subjects like humanity of war,the complexity, the politics and view point etc.But that doesn't also mean that he is not able to explain to the reader the realities of war. He stays to the point, crisp and fantastic in his own manner. He depicts the pain, the agony of the soldiers at war so passively that it numbs you.His description is so apt that it takes you directly to the scene of the war,as if it was just happening before you.You can feel the pain when a soldier is wounded or when he succumbs to injuries.

One of his novels named 'The Guns Of Navarone' has been termed as a classic and was also pictured. He shows how ruthlessly soldiers kill without thinking of the people they are killing. They are not their enemies, they dont even know these people;but still they kill;kill out of fear, out of anticipation that they might be killed. They just fight because they are told to do so by their senior officers, not because they are patriotic, not because they want to lay down their lives for their motherland. These petty things dont come to your mind in the battlefield .Your increasing adrenaline rush urges you again and again;Save yourself, save yourself. He depicts brave soldiers who have been excellent in training succumb to such notions.on the other hand he shows some experienced soldiers who have just gone numb to this feeling and who kill without thought just because they have been told to.
There is also wuite a lot to learn about from this book. The brilliant strategies that are planned by the elite group who have been given a specific task.He shows how this elite group of 6 or 7 outwits hundreds of thousands of soldiers.
My thoughts about this book:Mind boggling, pacy and very very impressive.i would give it 10 on 10.

Does God Exist??

The most mystifying question that has always put a question mark in my mind, why mine but in everyone's mind.In this essay I just want to express my views on whether god exists or not and my explanation that follows. When I was born I assimilated whatever my parents taught me.I hail from a brahmin family and my life was based on the existence of god. But by the age I started thinking I was slowly transformed into an atheist.Life went on the way it should and there was no reason I would believe otherwise. My perception about this concept undertook a u-turn during my teens when I cultivated the habit of reading.

Once I came across a book by Stephan Hawkings ;the great scientist and philosopher of this age.The name of the book was 'The Brief History Of Time'.The first few pages itself made me think beyond my wildest imagination about the existence of God. The arguments he gave convinced me beyond doubt that God exists. He talks about the truth we know and asks some unanswerable questions. He says that we just explain the various theories of the very existence of the human species but are unaware of why it actually happened.
He asks if the whole universe started with a big bang then what happened before it.More basic would be the question "Why a Big Bang ?".If time started after the big bang was there no existence of time before it ?Ok ,accepted that a big bang occured. Then what after it?What rules governed the formation of the galaxies and can we ever discover them ?These were just some questions that always taken me for a roller coaster ride. This convinces us to some extent of a supernatural power which was present before the big bang, during it and afterwards.
We say that nature has some set of rules according to which this world is governed.Well then what is nature and who governs it ?Now I think even now you are somewhat in a turmoil about the whole issue.
My another argument relates to our personal lives itself. Why did it happen that we are the way we are.Why werent you born as Adolf Hitler or Albert Einstein and why as yourself ?This question seems strange but still unanswerable.I have always felt one strange thing in my life and I feel every person in this world feels it too.Doesnt it happen that sometimes the instances you come across in your daily life seem to be felt before, like you say "I have seen this happen before maybe in my dream" but obviously cant recall when and where ?
The questions I present here were just some of the unanswerable ones. You can think of many other. But you may never be able to answer them.
Thats why I believe in God.He is divine and omnipresent. He decides your fate and what you become in life.He decides the rules of the nature. He is there to help you in need. You just need to call upon him and he is there. He is the faith,he is the truth,he is God.
